Job Summary
Prepare and stage equipment, materials, and documentation for upcoming installations, verifying all components are available prior to scheduled work. Collaborate with installers to load and unload job-specific materials at the VGS premises and deliver parts, tools, and supplies to field technicians at job sites. Participate in day-to-day warehouse activities including receipt, distribution, and delivery of materials while accurately processing inventory transactions and maintaining records within the company's inventory system. Perform general facilities maintenance such as painting, weed abatement, and stockroom upkeep, and support routine vehicle maintenance. This role reports to the Manager of Procurement and Facilities. Forklift certification is required or obtainable, and a valid Vermont driver's license is mandatory. The position involves physical tasks including lifting up to 100 lbs and working in varying weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Forklift certification or ability to successfully complete forklift certification
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Windows applications
- Strong work ethics and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Comfort using basic hand tools and performing physical tasks
- Must maintain a valid Vermont Driver License
- Must be able to lift and handle loads up to 100 lbs
