Job Summary
Operate company vehicles for delivery, pickup, and relocation of products, including driving Moffett or Piggy-Back forklifts. Load and unload trucks, verify inventory against shipping papers, and maintain vehicle supplies like gas, oil, and tires. Report mechanical issues, delays, or accidents to dispatch, and check delivery tickets for accuracy. Maintain records such as vehicle logs and billing statements while following traffic laws and established transportation procedures. Work independently with minimal supervision and perform warehouse duties like picking material when not delivering.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- 3+ years of commercial delivery driver experience
- Computer literate
- Proficient with MS Office 365
- Ability to effectively communicate [written and verbal]
- Thrives in a collaborative in a team environment
- Detailed oriented work style comfortable with multiple priorities being juggled while maintaining a consistent work approach
- Ability to pass a background check, MVR check, and drug test
- Physical requirements: sitting, standing, walking, lift to 50 lbs., carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling, enduring frequent exposure to outside weather conditions
