Job Summary
Operate a company vehicle to pick up and deliver local orders and equipment, sorting assignments and arranging the most efficient route. Maintain Vendor Managed Inventory programs at customer locations, organize products in reverse delivery order, and load items into the delivery vehicle. Unload products at customer locations, obtain signatures on packing slips, and determine which items need to be picked, checked, and shipped from sales orders. Prepare and secure packages to prevent damage during shipping, and may assist with restocking products on shelves. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 100lbs, and completion of internal training and certifications. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and interpret packing slips and delivery instructions
- Ability to document any information obtained from customer during delivery
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to move up to 100lbs and lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license
- Annual review of driving record
- Road test
- Internal training and certifications
- Medical Card / DOT Physical
- Safety certifications for specific customers
