Job Summary
Operate a company vehicle to pick up and deliver local orders and equipment, sorting assignments and arranging the most efficient route. Maintain Vendor Managed Inventory programs at customer locations, organize products in reverse delivery order, and load items into the vehicle. Unload products at customer locations, obtain signatures on packing slips to verify proof of delivery, and determine which items need to be picked, checked, and shipped from sales orders. Secure packages to prevent damage during transit and may assist with restocking shelves. Requires a valid driver's license with an annual driving record review, a DOT physical, and ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Road test and internal training are required upon hire.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and interpret packing slips and delivery instructions
- Ability to document any information obtained from customer during delivery
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to move up to 100lbs and lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license
- Annual review of driving record
- Medical Card / DOT Physical
- Compliance with applicable federal DOT guidelines
