Job Summary
Operate a company vehicle to pick up and deliver local orders and equipment, arranging the most efficient route while maintaining Vendor Managed Inventory programs. Sort assignments, organize products in reverse delivery order, load vehicles, and unload at customer locations to obtain signatures. Determine items for picking and shipping, prepare packages, and secure them to prevent damage. May assist with restocking shelves and perform other duties as assigned. Requires a valid driver's license with an annual review, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Road test and DOT physical required upon hire.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and interpret packing slips and delivery instructions
- Ability to document any information obtained from customer during delivery
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to move up to 100lbs and lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license
- Annual review of driving record
- Road test
- Medical Card / DOT Physical
- Compliance with applicable federal DOT guidelines
