Job Summary
Warehouse Driver operates a company vehicle to pick up and deliver local orders and equipment, plan the most efficient route, and provide branch warehouse support. Responsibilities include sorting assignments for efficient routing, maintaining vendor managed inventory at customer locations, loading and unloading goods, obtaining customer signatures on packing slips, determining items to pick/ship, preparing items for delivery, securing packages for transport, and potentially restocking shelves. Requires reading and interpreting packing slips, documenting customer information, basic math, and basic computer skills; valid driver’s license and driving-record review; DOT medical requirements and safety certifications may be required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Road test required upon hire
- DOT medical card or ability to obtain
- Annual review of driving record
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to move up to 100 lbs and lift up to 50 lbs
