Job Summary
Deliver tools and materials to job sites throughout the Bay Area while operating a 14' or 22' stake bed truck, tow trailer, and forklift after training. Travel to vendor warehouses for will-call deliveries and manage mail to the local post office. Maintain direct communication with the Warehouse Manager to update route progress and keep vehicles fueled and clean per maintenance checklists. Contribute to facility security by walking the perimeter and assist with housekeeping, document archiving, and office supply stocking. Work independently with little supervision, maintaining excellent attendance from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM Monday through Friday with possible overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds
- Must be able to navigate around job sites safely
- Must have the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in English
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week in Martinez, CA
- Must maintain excellent attendance for warehouse working hours of 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM Monday – Friday
- Must be able to comply with all company operating policies, procedures, and safety requirements
- Must be able to comply with EMCOR's Values, Business Code of Conduct, and Business Ethics
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years' experience as a driver
- Class B license
