Warehouse Driver Associate

Job Summary
Conduct customer service through the delivery and pick-up of parts, unloading products and storing them in designated warehouse areas. Pull and organize customer orders by part number and quantity, load materials into vehicles with bracing, and follow assigned routes for maximum efficiency. Operate industrial forklifts to transport materials between loading, unloading, processing, and storage zones while maintaining daily vehicle inspections and logs. Pick up returns and cores, package and ship orders via various carriers, and ensure all load documentation is accurate. Maintain warehouse cleanliness and inspect stock for defects, reporting any issues immediately to supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
- Minimum of 1 year of general warehouse experience
- Valid drivers' license with clean driving record
- OSHA approved safety toed shoes
- Ability to lift or carry parts in excess of 60 lbs up to 15% of the time
- Majority of lifting and carrying will involve parts between 5 and 60 lbs
- Inside/Outside Conditions, Varied Temperature Changes, Minimal Chemical Hazards, Vibration, Dust, Vehicle Noise
- Ability to follow instructions to completion
- Ability to solve simple equations; ability to use mathematics to solve problems
- Ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand
- Ability to understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
- Ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong
- Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense
- Ability to quickly respond (with the hand, finger or foot) to a signal (sound, light, picture) when it appears
- Ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects
- Ability to distinguish details at a distance
- Ability to choose quickly between two or more movements in response to two or more different signals (lights, sounds, pictures)
- Ability to know your location in relation to the environment or to know where other objects are in relation to you
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift operator certification and 1 year experience operating a forklift highly desired
