Job Summary

Conduct delivery and pick-up of parts, organizing customer orders by part number and quantity as directed by picking tickets. Load materials into vehicles, install bracing or padding, and follow assigned routes to ensure maximum efficiency. Unload products from shipping vehicles, store items in designated warehouse areas, and manually load or unload materials onto pallets and skids. Operate industrial forklifts to transport materials between loading, unloading, processing, and storage areas while completing annual operator training. Inspect stock items for wear or defects, maintain vehicle cleanliness and operative condition through daily inspections, and report any defects or accidents immediately. Pick up returns and cores, tag appropriately, and return them to the branch. Maintain logs of working hours and vehicle service status, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
  • Minimum of 1 year of general warehouse experience
  • Valid drivers' license with clean driving record
  • OSHA approved safety toed shoes
  • Ability to lift or carry parts in excess of 60 lbs up to 15% of the time
  • Ability to handle parts between 5 and 60 lbs
