Job Summary
Count and pick products per customer invoice or pick ticket, assisting with new distribution line setups and tracking shortages or overages. Place appropriate memos in boxes, push them through the tape machine, and attach shelf labels for peggable products. Ship boxes via UPS and RPS while maintaining clean lines and surrounding areas. Lift 30 to 50 lbs. repetitively and work within established time and quality control goals in a fast-paced environment. Read print and computer-based materials with consistent accuracy while adapting to fluctuating priorities and frequent interruptions.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to accurately count a variety of products
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs. repetitively
- Ability to work within established time and quality control goals for this area
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
- Ability to learn and master new tasks quickly
- Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, with coworkers, managers, and customers
- Must be able to read print and computer based materials and to do so with consistent accuracy
- Must be able to perform the responsibilities of the position well under pressure
- Must be able to adapt to performing a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure
- Must be able to manage a number of projects at one time
- Must be able to fluctuate between priorities on a daily basis while being responsive to needs as they arise
- Must be able to confirm work authorization / eligibility for all hires (via E-Verify)
