Job Summary
Lead the distribution line team by communicating daily assignments, goals, and expectations while assisting with new line setups. Perform all Distribution Specialist duties, including counting and picking products per invoice, issuing damaged goods to the Returns department, and placing shelf labels on peg-able items. Maintain work area cleanliness and safety, escalating issues to the manager as necessary. Provide daily reports and status updates to the Distribution Manager regarding potential problems and changes. Work in a fast-paced environment lifting 30 to 50 lbs, managing multiple projects under pressure, and adapting quickly to fluctuating priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to accurately count products in assigned section as picked for each invoice
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs. repetitively
- Ability to work within established time and quality control goals for this area
- Ability to learn and master new tasks quickly
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
- Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, with coworkers, managers, and customers
- Ability to read print and computer based materials and to do so with consistent accuracy
- Must be able to perform the responsibilities of the position well under pressure
- Ability to adapt to performing a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure
- Ability to manage a number of projects at one time
- Ability to fluctuate between priorities on a daily basis while being responsive to needs as they arise
