Job Summary
Stock business products accurately, promptly, and safely throughout the warehouse by receiving merchandise from manufacturers and replenishing shelves. Operate RF scanning equipment and occasionally use a forklift with required certification. Monitor and report minimum and maximum space requirements to the supervisor while adhering to all safety rules, including hazardous material handling. Maintain facility housekeeping standards and ensure accurate, repetitive routine speed. Functionally literate and capable of understanding product numbers and line codes for proper retrieval. High school diploma or GED required with ability to perform simple math operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Functional literacy
- Capability to understand and recognize product numbers and line codes
- Ability to identify sequence of numbers and letters accurately and rapidly
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
- Ability to write legibly
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers
- Ability to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- Common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
- Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
- Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts
- Loud noise level tolerance
- Ability to stand
- Ability to walk
- Ability to use hands and fingers to handle, or feel
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to talk or hear
