Job Summary
Warehouse Distribution Center Associate responsible for receiving, replenishing, picking, and loading products at a Napa Auto Parts distribution center. Responsibilities include unloading inbound shipments, counting against manifests, signing for inbound shipments when needed, ensuring correct quantities during order picking, transporting orders to shipping locations, maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring proper stock rotation, and upholding safety and housekeeping standards. The role focuses on meeting productivity KPIs, identifying and solving problems during daily warehouse operations, and performing all duties as assigned. Skills and requirements include stamina to stand/walk, ability to lift 50 pounds, operate RF scanning equipment, basic math and reading of alphanumeric sequences, and comfort with computer use; forklift/pallet jack experience is a plus, with availability to work Monday through Friday with possible weekend work.
Required Qualifications
- Possess the stamina to stand and walk for the entire shift
- Capable of lifting and moving parts of up to 50 pounds and pushing and pulling 300 pounds with use of mechanical aids
- Able to repeatedly bend, twist, squat, climb, and reach with the use of ladder when necessary
- Basic math skills to identify product quantity
- Able to read and recognize alphanumeric sequences
- Basic understanding of and ability to operate a computer and RF scanning equipment
- Prior work experience and the use of RF scanning equipment is a plus
- Have the availability to work M-F with occasional weekend work as needed
