Job Summary
Warehouse Distribution Center Associate at NAPA Auto Parts responsible for receiving, replenishing, picking, and loading products; unload inbound shipments, sign for inbound shipments when necessary, ensure accuracy of orders and inventory, maintain safety and cleanliness, report quality variances, and meet KPI performance targets. The role requires operating warehouse equipment (RF scanning devices, pallet jacks, and potentially forklifts), lifting up to 50 pounds, pushing/pulling heavy loads, standing and walking for extended periods, and the possibility of weekend work. Emphasis on accuracy in inventory, safe handling, and adhering to safety policies. Notable qualifications include basic math, ability to read alphanumeric sequences, and comfort with computer/RF technology.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
- Capable of lifting and moving parts up to 50 pounds and pushing/pulling 300 pounds with mechanical aids
- Able to repeatedly bend, twist, squat, and reach; climb when necessary
- Basic math skills to identify product quantity
- Ability to read and recognize alphanumeric sequences
- Basic understanding of and ability to operate a computer and RF scanning equipment
- Prior work experience with RF scanning equipment is a plus
- Availability to work Monday-Friday with occasional weekend work as needed
