Job Summary
Direct associates to perform operations safely and efficiently, utilizing daily huddles to communicate procedures and assignments. Coordinate work assignments, ensure timely completion of load verification, and enforce timekeeping policies through audits. Manage hiring, promotions, and terminations while conducting safety inspections and EHS audits to maintain a debris-free environment. Mentor new associates and report daily activities to corporate leadership. Requires 1+ years of leadership experience, a valid driver's license, and ability to lift 25 to 95 pounds. Full-time, permanent position with weekly pay, medical/dental/vision, and 401k. Local residence required; no travel.
Required Qualifications
- Experience receiving or unloading in a warehouse or distribution setting
- 1+ years of leadership experience
- Knowledge of logistics
- Ability to speak and write English for effective communication
- Basic math skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow directions
- Leadership skills and ability to supervise people and production effectively
- Must have valid driver's license
- Must pass background check
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
- Must be able to lift cases by hand weighing from 25 to 95 pounds, occasionally
- Must be able to operate warehouse/material moving equipment
- Ability to lift, walk, bend, twist, reach, push and squat occasionally
- Ability to use close and distance vision to focus on a computer screen for the majority of the workday
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
