Job Summary
Directs associates to perform operations safely and efficiently, utilizing daily huddles to communicate procedures and assignments. Coordinates work to ensure timely completion, manages hiring, promotions, and terminations, and implements performance improvement changes. Ensures compliance with FHI policies through daily safety inspections, EHS audits, and load verification for accuracy. Mentors new associates, trains subordinate team members, and enforces timekeeping policies via Kronos audits. Approves time accounts and reports daily activities to corporate office. Requires 1+ years of leadership experience in a warehouse setting, valid driver's license, and ability to work in extreme temperatures. Full-time, permanent position with local residence required; offers medical, dental, vision, 401k, and weekly pay.
Required Qualifications
- Experience receiving or unloading in a warehouse or distribution setting
- 1+ years of leadership experience
- Knowledge of logistics
- Ability to speak and write English for effective communication
- Basic math skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow directions
- Leadership skills and ability to supervise people and production effectively
- Must have valid driver's license
- Must pass background check
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
- Must be able to lift cases by hand weighing from 25 to 95 pounds, occasionally
- Must be able to operate warehouse/material moving equipment
- Ability to lift, walk, bend, twist, reach, push and squat occasionally
- Ability to use close and distance vision to focus on a computer screen for the majority of the workday
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
