Job Summary
Load and unload trucks safely, delivering merchandise to customer homes while assembling furniture as required. Conduct daily pre-trip inspections and maintain the delivery vehicle, ensuring it is fueled, cleaned, and ready for operation. Assist with warehouse tasks including receiving, stocking, and staging inventory, plus perform store inventories and pick up goods from other locations. Complete all necessary paperwork, obtain customer signatures, and report discrepancies. Maintain a clean, safe work environment and demonstrate dependability while serving customers. Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient in reading and understanding delivery paperwork, merchandise tickets, and safety regulations
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a neat and orderly work area
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch
- Frequently lift a minimum of 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds, using proper lifting techniques
- Must be able to visually inspect merchandise and delivery documents
