Job Summary
Load and unload trucks safely to prevent merchandise damage, delivering furniture to customer homes and assembling items as required. Conduct daily pre-trip inspections to maintain the delivery vehicle, ensuring it is fueled, cleaned, and ready for operation. Assist with warehouse tasks including receiving, stocking, and staging inventory while managing paperwork and obtaining customer signatures. Perform physical store inventories and support other personnel during absences. This role requires a valid driver's license, strong time management skills, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient in reading and understanding delivery paperwork, merchandise tickets, and safety regulations
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a neat and orderly work area
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch
- Frequently lift a minimum of 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds, using proper lifting techniques
- Must be able to visually inspect merchandise and delivery documents
