Job Summary
Delivery-focused role operating a company delivery truck to safely transport and unload products to customers. Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, loading/unloading (up to 75 lbs, with heavier occasional items), securing goods for transit, maintaining the delivery vehicle, processing related paperwork and driver logs, providing excellent customer service, and supporting warehouse operations. Requires DOT compliance, a valid CDL, ability to pass background and drug screenings, and the physical ability to lift 75 lbs and drive for long periods; strong math, documentation, and communication skills are needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Valid DOT physical card
- Valid driver’s license
- Thorough grasp of DOT rules and regulations regarding driving hours of service
- Ability to pass pre-employment DOT drug screen and background check
- No DUI or license suspensions in the last 5 years
- Ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs
- Ability to drive for prolonged periods
- English reading and communication skills
- Ability to do simple math
- Ability to identify products via pick lists and shipping documents
- Attention to detail and focus on tasks
