Job Summary
As a Warehouse Associate and Delivery Driver at EMCO Corporation in North Bay, you will pick, pack, and ship orders, count, verify, receive, and store incoming vendor material and customer returns, and perform warehouse duties. The driver role involves loading/unloading trucks, out-of-town deliveries with a G-licensed vehicle, completing pre-trip inspections and driver logs, following WHMIS and TDG requirements, and communicating customer needs to the Profit Centre Manager. You will also assist customers at the counter, maintain warehouse safety, operate a forklift, and help with inventory control, while contributing sales leads encountered during deliveries and supporting cross-functional team activities.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- minimum 1 year driving experience with a valid G license
- clean driving record
- CVOR knowledge considered an asset
- experience driving a 3/4 ton truck
- ability to operate forklift and other material handling equipment
- understanding of Transportation of Dangerous Goods act
- strong customer service and verbal communication skills
- ability to learn software system used to process orders
- intermediate math skills
