Job Summary
Prepare and complete daily deliveries by pulling, packing, and verifying orders against invoices and paperwork. Manage stock within the warehouse by processing incoming and outgoing inventory, organizing labeled stock, and conducting regular cycle counts. Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload vehicles while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Collect customer payments, signatures, and documentation as required, and report vehicle maintenance needs to management. Ensure all parts are accurately checked and that products are properly stored and delivered to customers.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (or GED)
- 1-3 years of experience as a delivery driver or warehouse associate
- minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience
- 18 years of age or older to operate a CMV for intrastate commerce
- 21 years of age or older to operate a CMV for interstate commerce
- proficiency in English
- valid, unrestricted driver's license
- current motor vehicle record with no more than 3 traffic violations within 3 years
- no serious or major violations (i.e., reckless driving, impaired driving, etc.) within 5 years
- no at-fault accidents within the last 3 years
- ability to obtain a Chauffeur's License, DOT Card, and pass an MVR, if needed
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products with ability to conduct basic database tasks in Excel
- Must be able to lift/carry 100 lbs
- Travel required: 50% (local travel within the workday)
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer as well as driving on the road
