Job Summary
Load, unload, and stage tires for warehouse storage and customer delivery, including unloading products at business locations. Operate equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks while inspecting, tallying, and labeling orders using the bin locator system. Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections, maintain logs, and collect payments for cash-on-delivery transactions. Ensure vehicles remain clean and mechanically sound, reporting defects immediately. Perform cycle counts and inventory control procedures as part of regular and annual schedules. Complete assigned training modules and adapt to fluctuating day shift hours from Monday through Saturday.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of general work experience
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of driving history, with a valid driver's license (does not include driver's permit)
- Must be 19 years old or older
- Must be able to maintain a forklift certification
- Must be able to maintain a valid driver's license
- Must not exceed 400 pounds in weight or 6 feet 3 inches in height
- Must be available for extended day, evening, and weekend work (including Saturday)
- Must be available for driving during the night or in inclement weather
- Must be able to lift, pull, push, and/or move tires (up to 50 lbs. or greater with or without mechanical assistance)
- Must be able to work up to 35 feet above ground-level
- Must be able to work up to 8 hours per day on a forklift
- Must be able to handle hazardous materials and wear various forms of protective equipment (gloves, protective eyewear, etc.)
- Must meet specific vision requirements including close, distance, color, peripheral visions, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
