Job Summary
Prepare and complete daily deliveries by pulling, packing, and verifying orders against invoices and paperwork. Execute customer pick-ups, collect payments and signatures, and maintain vehicle cleanliness while reporting maintenance needs. Manage warehouse stock by processing incoming and outgoing inventory in the ERP system, organizing labels, conducting cycle counts, and inspecting shipments for damage. Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload vehicles safely while adhering to safety regulations. Maintain a clean work environment and provide professional customer service through effective communication and problem-solving. Requires a valid driver's license, 3+ years of commercial driving experience, and ability to lift 100 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (or GED)
- 1-3 years of experience as a delivery driver or warehouse associate
- minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience
- 18 years of age or older to operate a CMV for intrastate commerce
- 21 years of age or older to operate a CMV for interstate commerce
- proficient in English
- valid, unrestricted driver's license
- current motor vehicle record with no more than 3 traffic violations within 3 years
- No serious or major violations (i.e., reckless driving, impaired driving, etc.) within 5 years
- No at-fault accidents within the last 3 years
- Ability to obtain a Chauffeur's License, DOT Card, and pass an MVR, if needed
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products with ability to conduct basic database tasks in Excel
- Must be able to lift/carry 100 lbs
- Travel required: 50% (local travel within the workday)
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer as well as driving on the road
