Job Summary
Load, unload, and stage tires for warehouse storage and customer deliveries, including unloading products at client business locations. Operate equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks while inspecting, tallying, and labeling orders using the bin locator system. Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections, maintain logs, and collect payments for Cash on Delivery transactions. Ensure vehicles remain clean and mechanically sound, reporting defects immediately to supervisors. Perform cycle counts and inventory control procedures as part of scheduled activities. Complete other tasks assigned by leadership while adhering to TireHub safety standards and policies.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of general work experience
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of driving history, with a valid driver's license (does not include driver's permit)
- Must be 19 years old or older
- Must be able to maintain a forklift certification
- Must be able to maintain a valid driver's license
- Must not exceed 400 pounds in weight or 6 feet 3 inches in height
- Must be available for extended day, evening, and weekend work (including Saturday)
- Must be available for little to no advanced notice
- Must be able to work during the night or in inclement weather
- Must be able to repeatedly lift, pull, push and/or move tires (up to 50lbs) with or without mechanical assistance
- Must be capable of frequent bending, twisting and lifting
- Must be able to work up to 35 feet above ground-level
- Must be able to work up to 8 hours per day on a forklift
- Must be able to follow traffic rules and regulations by safely driving TireHub vehicles to deliver tires to customer locations
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be familiar with Manifest, GPS and Navigation systems
- Must be able to maintain a forklift certification
- Must be able to handle hazardous materials and wear various forms of protective equipment (gloves, protective eyewear, etc.)
- Must meet specific vision requirements including close, distance, color, peripheral visions, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to operate equipment in various settings, ranging from non-climate-controlled warehouses to customer locations
- Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, bend, crawl, climb and balance
- Must be able to select, packing, counting, labeling, and palletizing customer orders and position them in designated locations using the bin locator system
- Must be able to conduct and participate in cycle counts, tallies, and labeling as part of regularly scheduled and annual inventory control procedures
- Must be able to collect payments from customers on Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions
- Must be able to ensure vehicles remain clean and in good mechanical/physical condition
- Must be able to conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections daily and immediately report any operational issues or mechanical defects to the supervisor or designated person
- Must be able to complete all the necessary driver and vehicle maintenance logs, on a regular basis
- Must be able to ensure compliance with all TireHub policies and procedures
- Must be able to participate and maintain ongoing training through in-class, in-person, or computer-based learning modules, as assigned
- Must be able to complete other tasks assigned by their Supervisor or another member of leadership
