Job Summary
The Warehouse Cycle Counter is responsible for maintaining inventory cycle count and physical inventory programs. Key responsibilities include counting and reconciling inventory, developing solutions to shortages and discrepancies, compiling statistical information related to inventory for management, and ensuring compliance with inventory processes and contractual obligations. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 to 3 months of related experience, as well as experience operating a forklift and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalency
- Minimum 1 to 3 months related experience and/or training
- Experience operating a forklift and cherry picker/high lift
- PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to physically count articles or products on shelves, racks and pallets
