Job Summary
Warehouse Customer Service Pickup Associate (Will Call Counter Clerk) at Würth Baer Supply Company is based in our Bensenville, IL distribution center. You will greet customers, look up customer information in SAP/WMS, process will-call pickups, assist with warehouse picking/packing, handle order processing and returns, perform inventory counts, maintain a clean/organized area, and help customers load items into their vehicles. The role involves standing for long periods, potential lifting of 10-30 pounds, and working Monday–Friday, with benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) matching, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation and holidays, and career growth opportunities. Woodworking industry knowledge is encouraged; prior warehouse and customer-service experience are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma and previous customer service experience
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn new systems
- Experience looking up information in a warehouse management system (WMS)
- Woodworking experience/knowledge helpful
- Comfort with warehouse work and assisting customers
