Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations and account management for assigned warehouse functions, leading direct reports to attain daily operational goals. Manage customer service satisfaction, staff performance, and development of exempt and non-exempt employees while handling day-to-day planning and scheduling. Ensure Health and Safety Management and compliance with State/Local/Federal regulations. Perform other duties as assigned, including off-shift support during critical customer network disruptions. This role supports Ryder's Supply Chain Solutions division, serving Fortune 500 businesses and startups with industry-leading logistics expertise.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. diploma/GED
- Two (2) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field
- One (1) year or more direct supervisory/leadership experience
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)
- Logistics industry knowledge
- Knowledge and understanding of Customer/Company local and Federal regulations
- Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain Management components
- Strong knowledge of Manufacturing and Production
Desired Qualifications
- Warehouse operations management experience
- Experience leading inbound and outbound operations
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain
