Job Summary
Warehouse & Counter Sales Associate at QC Supply in Washington, IA, responsible for inventory verification, picking, packing, and shipping, as well as in-store and phone-based customer service and sales support. Duties include staging and organizing inbound materials using the inventory management system, accurate order fulfillment, assisting customers with product knowledge and promotions, maintaining stock levels, cycle counts, and general housekeeping. Requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, strong computer and written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment. No college degree required; on-the-job training provided. 40 hours per week with potential overtime; benefits available for full-time roles.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience working within a warehouse and distribution environment
- Experience utilizing portable technology within a warehouse environment
- Understanding of inventory control concepts
- Forklift certification and experience with stand-up and sit-down lifts
- Previous customer service experience is strongly preferred
- Valid driver\'s license and ability to drive a company vehicle if needed
