Warehouse Coordinator

Job Summary
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall upkeep of the shop and yard, including snow removal and general site maintenance. Support yard safety initiatives and perform routine building and equipment maintenance, coordinating servicing for trucks and trailers. Monitor and manage inventory of supplies, tools, and equipment, ensuring accurate records in Excel and the company ERP system through regular physical counts and discrepancy investigations. Receive, ship, and verify materials by matching packing slips to purchase orders and processing orders in the ERP system. Assist with equipment assembly, preparation for installation projects, and cleaning of equipment returned from the field. Provide cross-functional operational support during employee absences to ensure continuity of operations. Perform general labour duties and other related tasks as required. This full-time position (Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm) is located in Burlington, ON.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse, yard, or industrial environment
- Experience operating forklifts and/or heavy equipment
- Proficient with power tools and hand tools; mechanically inclined with basic troubleshooting abilities
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and performing general labour duties
- Experience with inventory management systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality
- Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage resources efficiently
- Ability to collaborate and coordinate effectively with cross-functional departments
Desired Qualifications
- Previous yard operations or shipping & receiving experience
- Experience/Knowledge within construction or a similar industry
- Valid forklift certification
- Safety training and/or First Aid certification
