Job Summary
Coordinate workflow and prioritize work across all warehouse areas by wave to ensure timely error correction and smooth operations. Assist with onboarding tours, identify training needs, and maintain Departmental KATA boards while communicating status updates to management. Operate non-motorized equipment and RF scanners, perform miscellaneous duties to meet employee needs, and act as a positive role model within the team. Work in a unionized environment with exposure to conveyor noise and dust, lifting up to 50 lbs. Available for overtime as business needs dictate.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent work experience
- College or University degree in Logistics
- five years related on the job experience
- Thorough knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Ability to provide superior customer service
- Act as a positive role model to employees
- Ability to work 50% of the working day unsupervised
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated exemplary attendance and work habits
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in areas of varying temperatures
- Follow established ergonomic body mechanics
- Follow all safety rules and requirements
- Maintain facility housekeeping standards
- Strong Number recognition and correlation
- Be alert to, watch for, and immediately report all incidents impacting health & safety
- Be alert to, watch for, and immediately report all carton jams and mechanical equipment failures
- Operation of RF equipment
- Must be able to lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs
- Mobility necessary to work all levels of building
- Ability to stand 90% of day if required by job function
- Acceptable vision to perform job functions
- Ability to work Overtime
- Operate non-motorized equipment needed to perform job functions within your assigned area
- Ability to interact within a team environment
Desired Qualifications
- College or University degree in Logistics or five years related on the job experience (Preferred)
