Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations by transferring, inspecting, and storing incoming goods while maintaining accurate stock records and logs. Schedule and oversee deliveries and pickups, operating delivery vehicles to transport materials accurately and on time. Manually or with equipment assistance, move parts, supplies, and finished products within the facility using forklifts, pallet handlers, and other material handling equipment. Locate shortages, conduct cycle counts, and maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with PPE requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Possessing the trait of being organized or following a systematic method of performing a task
- Ability to adapt to change in the workplace
- Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word
- Prior material handling experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Prior experience operating a forklift
- TWIC Card
- Forklift Certified
- Heavy Machinery Vehicle (if not currently certified, be willing to get certified)
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- two to four years related experience
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position, location and/or customer
