Job Summary
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily operations in a manual warehouse environment, coordinating with forklift drivers, production teams, and shipping partners to ensure efficient inventory movement and timely outbound shipments. Key responsibilities include providing work instructions and task assignments, operating a forklift, managing inventory transactions in the Warehouse Management System (WMS), preparing shipping documentation, conducting pre-shipment inspections, and maintaining operational safety and efficiency. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Forklift operation experience and certification preferred
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Strong coordination and communication skills when working with internal teams and external truck drivers
- Ability to handle multiple operational priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail in inventory control, documentation, and shipment verification
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing plant or battery/automotive parts distribution environment
- Experience coordinating loading operations and shipment documentation
- Knowledge of inventory control processes and warehouse safety procedures
- Experience supporting both inbound and outbound logistics operations
