Job Summary
Answer telephone to book receiving and outbound appointments, file and retrieve distribution documentation, and verify orders by matching purchase orders to vendor packing slips. Consolidate carrier documentation to assign receiving doors, produce storage labels, and update perpetual inventory to correct receiving errors. Prepare documents for outbound loads, ensure timely shipment confirmation, and record daily receiving logs while posting documents to the system. Modify orders using the Accellos system and assign tasks to team members as instructed. Provide administrative computer system support and back up inventory control when necessary. This weekend shift runs Saturday to Monday from 6AM to 6PM.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Willingness to learn new tasks and accept challenges
- Working knowledge of PC's and common office software(Word, Excel, Access, Email)
- Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems ( Delfour, SAP )
- One to Two years of general warehousing experience
- Excellent time management, organizational and problem solving skills
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, supply chain management, or related fields
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems (such as AS400), CMMS, and transportation management systems
- Experience with shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment, packaging operations, and materials management
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams
- Saturday to Monday 6AM to 6PM shift availability
- Weekend shift availability
