Warehouse Coordinator - 2nd Shift - Dry Storage

Job Summary
Conduct accurate storage, shipping, receiving, and cycle counting for frozen and dry goods while maintaining location accuracy and inventory control. Operate forklifts to move, locate, stack, kit, and count products, ensuring safe and efficient material handling in cold storage environments ranging from 24°F to -10°F. Execute picking duties to fulfill work orders per manufacturing schedule, verify freight for accuracy and damage, and reconcile inventory variances using RF technology and ERP applications. Maintain organized receiving and shipping docks, ensure proper stock rotation via FIFO principles, and interface with suppliers, manufacturing, and MIS to address system enhancements or inventory control issues.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of inventory control systems and processes
- Experienced in Fork Lift truck operation
- Able to work in Cold Storage environments with temperatures ranging from 24 degrees Fahrenheit to –10 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to communicate effectively with Freight suppliers, Import/Export, Freight forwarders, Packaging/Corrugated vendors, Manufacturing personnel, Customer Service, Engineering, Finance and other company personnel as required
- Knowledge of Warehousing processes and how these processes can be integrated into existing company practices and requirements
- Ability to analyze and reconcile inventory variances
- Ability to maintain an accurate and well-organized warehouse and receiving/shipping dock
- Ability to interface with MIS on enhancements or problems with the system application and/or initiate requests necessary to improve or correct inventory control issues
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
