Job Summary
Multifunctional Warehouse Coordinator (2nd Shift) at Cipla in Fall River, MA. Primary nature of the role is Warehouse Operator with secondary responsibilities supporting Packaging Operations, Manufacturing Operations, and Facilities Operations. Responsible for monitoring and controlling production demand for raw materials, packing materials and finished goods by aligning with the production plan and coordinating with purchase and production to support manufacturing while ensuring cGMP compliance and safety. Key duties include maintaining material availability per production plan, scheduling materials for purchase, monitoring inventory, indenting materials for new product launches, providing material status to tech transfer, ensuring cGMP compliance in stores, proper receipt, verification, labeling and accounting of materials, managing retest schedules, preventing cross-contamination, preparing change controls/deviations/qualifications/validations studies, real-time data entry, generating inspection-date reports, preparing receipt/issuance/dispensing and material accounting, coordinating with QA for material release, and supporting safety and training requirements. Qualifications emphasize 5-8 years in pharmaceutical stores, SAP material management, cGMP knowledge, and strong QA/record-keeping and safety competencies.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate or D. Pharm. from an accredited college or university degree required.
- 5-8 years of experience in stores of a pharmaceutical organisation knowledge of material management module in SAP and cGMP in stores
- Proficiency in the English language (Speaking/Reading/Writing) to understand work instructions and document results.
- Knowledge of fundamental cGMP and regulatory requirements in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment highly preferred.
- Basic understanding of mechanical machinery and the operating principles of control systems.
- Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
- Demonstrated ability to work in both independent and team environments.
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety procedures, including OSHA.
- Strong mathematical and organizational skills.
