Job Summary
Implement, inspect, integrate, and support various Material Handling Software solutions and implementations that form Cencora's key business operations. Lead or assist project teams with functional specifications, interface design, testing, issue tracking, and trend analysis for division MHE enhancement projects. Prepare preliminary user requirements, develop training programs, and provide support for automated Material Handling solutions while participating in cybersecurity technology design. Assist with business intelligence initiatives and contribute to the rollout of new or enhanced applications for end-users. Work evenings and weekends as necessary to support division processing and meet committed development delivery dates.
Required Qualifications
- Understanding of Software solutions
- Minimum of six (6) years directly related and progressively responsible experience working with a Warehouse Control System
- Programming skills in SQL Server/Oracle and/or Visual Studio/Java
- Experience with Warehouse Material Handling and Automation Systems
- Experience with writing Test plans and testing
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with various levels within the organization (Technical and non-technical resources, external vendors, etc.)
- Demonstrated knowledge of project management concepts and associated tool usage
- Good interpersonal skills; effective team player
- Ability to write functional and technical specifications
- Strong decision-making skills and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize workload and consistently meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as necessary to support division processing
- Willing to travel up to 20% in a year
Desired Qualifications
- Normally requires some training in fields such as business, project management, administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Experience with XML, JSON, SFTP, and Telnet
- Experience with Python, Azure, PowerBI, Databricks, and VMWare
- Familiarity with Functional and Interface Specification as well as Integration of various components into a larger system
- Demonstrated issue resolution, analytical and problem-solving skills, including debugging application code and interface messaging
