Job Summary
Retrieve parts from inventory based on sales orders or shipping lists and prepare them for shipment, including building containers and dispatching by the best method. Check all parts against packing lists to identify receiving problems or freight damage, ensuring identification numbers are recorded before inventorying. Physically pull parts for sales representatives and field service mechanics, and pick up or deliver parts to customers as required. Operate forklifts, receive and repack stock orders, and number bulk shipments. Maintain a clean, orderly work area by sweeping floors, operating vacuums, and assisting with EPA waste disposal. Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Must have valid driver's license and good driving record to be insurable by corporate insurance carrier
- The job requires some stooping, bending, climbing, and the capability of lifting up to 50 pounds
- Basic computer skills
Desired Qualifications
- Warehouse experience preferred
- Basic carpentry skills would be a plus
