Job Summary
Warehouse Clerk handles shipping/receiving, inventory control, and related administrative tasks in a warehouse. Responsibilities include receiving materials, processing receipts in the inventory system, labeling and stocking items, shipping and packing, conducting cycle counts and adjustments, issuing materials to operations, maintaining receiving and issuing documents, coordinating with Procurement on POs and returns, preparing requisitions and related paperwork, storing tools and parts with proper labeling, operating equipment to load/unload pallets, keeping the warehouse clean and organized, and performing other duties as assigned. Requires high school diploma or GED, 1 year of warehouse experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory systems (Asset Works preferred), ability to operate forklifts/scissor lifts/pallet jacks, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to work a Wed-Sat shift with overtime as needed. Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for pre-employment background checks and drug/screening.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year of warehouse experience with inventory, shipping and receiving
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office and inventory systems; Asset Works preferred)
- Ability to operate forklift, scissor lift or pallet jack safely
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to walk several miles in a shift
- Problem solving and prioritization under minimal supervision
- Willingness to work nights, holidays, weekends and overtime
- Valid state driver’s license
- Eligible to work in the U.S. and pass pre-employment screenings (background, drug/alcohol)
