Job Summary
Receive and inspect incoming automotive parts shipments for accuracy and damage, then accurately log and stock items in designated warehouse locations. Pick and stage parts for service technicians, body shop, and retail counter orders, while processing returns, cores, and warranty claims per dealership and manufacturer policies. Operate material-handling equipment safely, maintain clean storage areas, and assist with regular inventory counts to reconcile discrepancies. Prepare outgoing shipments and coordinate with delivery drivers, communicating with the Parts Manager regarding inventory needs and order status. This role ensures accurate inventory control and timely fulfillment to support internal departments and external customers in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Basic computer skills
- Proficiency with inventory or DMS software
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Must follow all safety procedures
- Wear appropriate protective gear
Desired Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or automotive parts experience
- Familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS)
