Job Summary
Part-time Warehouse Bulk Selector (2nd Shift) at Staples in Wauregan, CT. Responsibilities include operating material handling equipment (forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, electric pallet jacks) to pick product up to 100 lbs across roles (Bulk/Material Handling Equipment Operator, Warehouse Porter, Replenishment, Receiving/Putaway/Returns, Returns, Shipping). You may be moved into any of the above roles, or SC1 roles, as needed. Safety is emphasized; must lift 70-100 lbs, pass drug screen, wear safety shoes, and work in a warehouse with varying temperatures. Minimum 3 months warehouse experience required; English language skills required; 18+ years old. Benefits include PTO, holidays, 401(k), and other wellness and discount programs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment
- Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permissible legally
- Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications)
- If you are hired as a Full-Time associate, you must have the ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; additional overtime hours will be required based on business need
- Ability to lift, push or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70 pounds and 100 pounds by hand
- Must wear safety composite shoes
- Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time
- You must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
