Job Summary
As a Warehouse Associate at Staples, you will operate material handling equipment, perform general cleaning and maintenance, assist in shipping, and ensure safety practices. Successful candidates will need to lift heavy weight and work in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment
- Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permissible legally
- Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications)
- Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more as needed
- Ability to lift, push or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70 pounds and 100 pounds by hand
- Must wear safety composite shoes
- Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time
- Must be at least 18 years old
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklift, pallet jack and cherry picker helpful.
