Job Summary
Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks to move product up to 100 lbs and pick items within the warehouse. Confirm product accuracy, address discrepancies, and manually unload trucks while palletizing and organizing customer orders for shipping. Match item quantities to packing slips for returned goods and tag appropriate items. Maintain a clean workspace and adhere to safety procedures throughout the 12:00pm to 8:30pm Monday through Friday shift. Work in a fast-paced environment with seasonal temperature variations and lift merchandise weighing between 70 and 100 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- An ability to be Material Handling Equipment Operator certified and safely operate necessary material handling equipment
- Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment; or any equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience
- Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permissible legally
- Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications)
- If you are hired as a Full-Time associate, must have the ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; additional overtime hours will be required based on business need
- Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more as needed
- An ability to lift, push or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70 pounds and 100 pounds by hand
- Must wear safety composite shoes
- An ability to walk and stand 100% of the time
- You must be at least 18 years old
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
- Prior experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklift, pallet jack and cherry picker helpful
