Job Summary
Place labels on boxes in received orders, pull bottles from locations, and verify exact quantity, size, type, and condition before filling boxes with wine or liquor. Handle and carry multiple bottles while pushing filled boxes down conveyors to the next zone, repeating this process throughout the shift. Carry full cases to assigned pick zones, alert management when inventory is low, and operate equipment safely. Maintain the facility and equipment in a neat, clean, orderly, and safe manner while keeping appropriate records for inventory control and security. Work in a non-temperature controlled environment with exposure to heat, humidity, and noise, lifting up to 65 lbs. Six months of similar experience and forklift operation preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Regular, reliable attendance required
- Able to frequently operate a pallet jack and/or forklift
- Able to stand and walk, reach with arms and hands, lift and carry, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel
- Able to stack, unstack and relocate large amounts of product throughout the day
- Able to perform greater than average lifting (50-65 lbs) with some overhead lifting required
- Must have specific vision abilities that include close vision, distance vision and the ability to judge distance
Desired Qualifications
- Six months of experience in a similar position is strongly preferred
- Experience in operating an electric pallet jack, forklift, and other power equipment preferred
