Job Summary
Develop and maintain warehouse layouts to maximize storage capacity and optimize material flow. Analyze operational data to create capacity plans, recommend slotting strategies, and identify bottlenecks for continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor inventory levels, coordinate replenishment with supply chain teams, and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements. Maintain master data within WMS and ERP systems while supporting audits and technology upgrades. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements and reduce handling costs. Occasional travel may be required to support multiple facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse planning, logistics, supply chain, inventory management, or industrial operations
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
- Excellent communication and project coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
- Frequently required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- May frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, industrial, or large-scale warehouse environments
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience with warehouse design, slotting optimization, and capacity planning
- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, AutoCAD, or warehouse simulation software
- APICS/ASCM, CPIM, CSCP, Lean, or Six Sigma certification
