Job Summary
Audit outbound customer orders before shipment by verifying products, quantities, lot numbers, labeling, packaging, and documentation against customer orders and Warehouse Management System records. Review backorders, shortages, substitutions, and inventory discrepancies to make approved WMS adjustments, then record findings and adjustments accurately. Identify and resolve missing, incorrect, or damaged items before shipment, communicate discrepancies to the warehouse team, and recommend process improvements based on root cause analysis. Partner with the palletizer to ensure every shipment is accurate and secure. Work in climate-controlled and refrigerated environments while standing and lifting up to 50 lbs. This role supports Premier Food Supplies' commitment to quality by preventing errors before orders leave the facility.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in refrigerated and freezer environments.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse, inventory, auditing, quality control, or food distribution experience preferred.
- Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
