Job Summary
Receive, store, deliver, and inspect all items at the receiving dock, coordinating requisitions and transporting materials to user departments. Follow established policies for inspecting incoming materials against order specifications, arranging returns for defective items, and maintaining clean, safe, and orderly warehouse facilities. Place orders via computer for warehouse stock and operate pallet jacks and various materials handling equipment. Provide exceptional customer service to patrons while communicating professionally with supervisors, managers, and staff. Maintain a current understanding of information security policies and complete all required training programs within nine months. Work a 24-hour schedule in a moderately loud environment where smoking is permitted, adhering to all regulatory and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or its equivalency
- Previous customer service experience
- Previous experience in warehousing
- Computer literate
- Valid driver's license
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to write routine correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers
- Ability to deal effectively and interact well with customers and employees
- Ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
- Ability to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the casino
- Ability to lift up to eighty (80) pounds
- Physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment
- Ability to operate pallet jacks and various materials handling equipment
