Job Summary
Assist with shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking-in inventory, and distributing items to requesting departments. Read requisitions and shipping orders to determine items to be moved, gather, or distribute merchandise. Record amounts of materials received or distributed via appropriate computer programs and prepare parcels for mailing. Maintain proper storage of inventory to avoid spills or spoilage, rotating stock according to schedule, and ensure the warehouse remains accessible, clean, organized, and safe. Perform physical inventory as scheduled. This role requires a minimum of 18 years of age, a high school diploma with six months related experience, and proficiency in Microsoft applications. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50lbs and qualify for a Maryland State Lottery Agency license. Starting salary is $17.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- High School diploma or equivalent with six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, and Word)
- Must be able to read and write in English and have good verbal communication skills
- Basic math skills, such as adding, subtracting, fractions, decimals, percentages, etc
- The ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Must be able to frequently push, pull, carry, and/or lift up to 50lbs
- Must qualify for a license with the Maryland State Lottery Agency and meet any credentialling requirements of the Maryland Gaming Control Board
