Job Summary
Conduct timely, accurate picking of customer orders, verifying correct items, lot numbers, and quantities to meet order requirements. Prepare orders for shipment by checking cartons, packing materials into boxes, containers, and pallets, and ensuring appropriate protection for products. Follow Standard Operating Procedures and participate in Safety Team and EHS programs while performing inventory counts. Operate Material Handling Equipment, perform stock replenishments, and unload sorter lanes to verify shipment modes. Work in temperatures ranging from 36°F to 46°F, lifting up to 40 lbs routinely and 80 lbs occasionally. Maintain clean work areas and assist team members to balance workload. Utilize systems including Transportation Management and Warehouse Management systems.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Zero (0) to one (1) year of work experience in general warehousing or manufacturing
- Experience in order assembly
- Experience in shipping/receiving
- Experience in stocking
- Experience in inventory maintenance
- Experience in picking/verification functions
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures
- Knowledge and application of Hazardous Materials Packing and shipping requirements
- Ability to maintain consistent and reliable attendance
- Willingness to work overtime as needed to complete daily business volume
- Ability to work in warm and/or refrigerated environments
- Demonstrated qualities of hard work, teamwork, and commitment to excellence
- Routine lifting up to 40 lbs
- Occasionally lifting up to 80 lbs
- Ability to access all areas of the facility
- Possess or obtain authorization to work in the US
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs
