Job Summary
Receive incoming shipments, verify items against purchase orders, and inspect goods for damages. Unload, sort, and store received items in designated locations while updating stock levels in inventory management systems. Accurately prioritize and fill orders using warehouse equipment, ensuring correct packaging, labeling, and loading for shipping. Perform cycle counts, maintain facility cleanliness, and communicate to rectify issues regarding inventory accuracy or specifications. Operate forklifts and other equipment safely while maintaining certification. Work Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Ability to operate a forklift, rider reach truck, stock picker or hand truck
- Must pass forklift training and maintain forklift certification
- Knowledge of computer basics, Warehouse Management Software and/or Integrated Logistics Solutions - SAP, Kisoft, LogiFlow, Microsoft Office
- Ability to read, interpret and comprehend documents such as training instructions, shipping tickets, procedure manuals, etc. at a fast pace
- Requires lifting ability of up to 80 pounds, with frequent lifting of 40-60 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk on a concrete surface 8 to 10 hours a day
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years of material handling, forklift, or warehouse experience
- Experience with RF Scanner used to track inventory
- Strong attention to detail and communications skills, both written and oral
