Job Summary
Conduct receiving, stocking, order filling, packaging, and shipping duties while operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Visually verify incoming freight, prioritize order fulfillment, and ensure accurate labeling for distribution. Perform cycle counts, maintain facility cleanliness, and rectify issues regarding damages, shortages, or inventory inaccuracies. Work Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm, requiring the ability to stand and walk on concrete for 8 to 10 hours while lifting up to 80 pounds. Maintain forklift certification and utilize warehouse management software to support efficient supply chain operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- 1-2 years of material handling, forklift or warehouse experience
- Ability to operate a forklift, rider reach truck, stock picker or hand truck
- Must pass forklift training and maintain forklift certification
- Ability to keep fast paced within work environment
- Able to work independently or within a team environment
- Ability to read, interpret and comprehend documents such as training instructions, shipping tickets, procedure manuals, etc. at a fast pace
- Requires lifting ability of up to 80 pounds, with frequent lifting of 40-60 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk on a concrete surface 8 to 10 hours a day
- Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Software and/or Integrated Logistics Solutions
- Experience with RIF Scanner used to track inventory
